By Design: Bios

By Design/Group Bio

By Design answered God’s call to music evangelism over a decade ago and has traveled throughout the southeast leading a variety of audiences in worship. These ladies have ministered at crusades, revivals, and services from the inner city streets of Atlanta, GA, to the Superdome in New Orleans, LA. They have been honored to serve as worship leaders at state conferences in Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, South Carolina, and Tennessee, and have been guest artists at two Southern Baptist Conventions as well as at various outreach events for the Youth for Christ, Pregnancy Crisis Center, Victims of Homicide, and Right to Life organizations.

The hearts of these ladies from the Atlanta area lie not in performance but in submitting to the Holy Spirit, allowing Him complete freedom to encourage and challenge the believer as well as to draw non-believers to the Savior. Using a variety of musical genres including praise and worship, southern gospel, traditional and acappella, By Design seeks to create a worship experience that moves each and every one of us quickly into the presence of God.

Morgan & Maddie Grace, 12 and 10 years old respectively, keep the family busy with their multiple activities! In May of 1990, after several years of attending church and being religious, Nancy invited Jesus Christ into her life to be her personal Lord and Savior. God has been faithful and His joy, peace and mercy have been abundant! The Easterling family are proud to call Hebron Baptist their home church where they serve in various capacities. Nancy is a graduate of the University of Georgia and is currently an Integration Executive for a national bank.

Darlene McMillian

Darlene and her husband Dorsey have been married for 39 years. God blessed them with two precious children, Joshua and Jenna.  The McMillians have been active members of Hebron Church for 34 years. After attending church her whole life, involved in music ministry and sunday school, Darlene still struggled with assurance of her salvation. On February 21, 1988 she heard a life changing message on the parable of the Wheat and Tares (Matthew 13:24-30). Darlene realized she was a religious person who needed a personal relationship with Christ. She now has the "peace that passes all understanding" and knows without a doubt she's a child of the King.  In 2011, Darlene and Dorsey witnessed the marriage of their son Joshua to Carmen, a beautiful young woman of God from Hebron Church.  In 2013 they welcomed their first grandson, Gabriel William, into the world, and in 2016 their granddaughter, Adelyn Grace.
